🏁 EVENT RULES AND REGULATIONS

Udaipur Marathon

1. ELIGIBILITY

a) The Event is open to all individuals, including Indian and international participants.

b) Participants below 18 years must have consent from a parent or legal guardian at the time of registration. The registering person represents that such consent has been obtained.

c) RunnerX LLP reserves the right to verify age and identity at any stage before, during, or after the Event.

d) Minimum age requirements by race category shall be:

• 3K Fun Run: 4 years;

• 5K Timed Run: 12 years;

• 10K Classic: 12 years;

• Half Marathon (21.097 km): 18 years.

e) Participants below 18 years participate at their own risk, and full responsibility shall rest with the parent or legal guardian. RunnerX LLP shall not be responsible for verifying such consent.

f) Participants below 12 years must be accompanied by a parent, legal guardian, or authorised adult on race day.

2. RACE DAY REQUIREMENTS

a) Participants must report at the venue within the specified reporting time.

b) Late arrival may result in denial of participation.

c) Participants must start at their designated start time or wave.

d) Only registered participants wearing valid bibs shall be allowed to participate.

e) Once registered for an on-ground category, participation cannot be converted into a virtual category under any circumstances.

3. BIB NUMBER AND KIT

a) Participants must wear their assigned bib number clearly visible on the front at all times.

b) Bib collection shall be strictly within the communicated schedule. No bibs shall be issued after the specified timeline.

c) No replacement shall be provided for lost, stolen, or damaged bibs.

d) No T-shirt size change or kit modification requests shall be entertained on bib collection day or event day.

e) T-shirts, medals, trophies, or any other race entitlements for on-ground participants shall not be couriered or delivered under any circumstances and must be collected as per Event guidelines.

4. ROUTE AND COURSE RULES

a) Participants must strictly follow the designated race route at all times.

b) Any deviation, shortcut, or leaving the marked course shall result in disqualification.

c) Participants must pass through all designated timing checkpoints. Missing checkpoints may lead to disqualification.

d) Use of any external assistance, including vehicles, bicycles, or pacing support not authorised by the organiser, is strictly prohibited.

5. CUT-OFF AND TIMING

a) All race categories shall have defined cut-off timings which must be adhered to.

b) Participants exceeding cut-off limits may be stopped from continuing the race.

c) Only participants completing the race within rules and checkpoints shall be considered for official results.

d) Timing certificates shall be made available for download within 21 days from the date of the Event.

6. ON-COURSE CONDUCT

a) Participants must conduct themselves in a respectful and sportsmanlike manner at all times.

b) Any form of misconduct, obstruction, unsafe behaviour, or nuisance shall lead to disqualification without refund.

c) Participants must follow instructions from event officials, volunteers, and authorities.

7. AID STATIONS AND SAFETY

a) Hydration and aid stations shall be available at designated points.

b) Participants are responsible for their own hydration and safety.

c) Participants must immediately report any medical issue or discomfort to event staff.

8. BIB VISIBILITY AND TRACKING

a) Bib numbers must remain visible and unobstructed at all times.

b) Covering, folding, or tampering with the bib is not permitted.

c) Improper bib usage may result in invalid timing or disqualification.

9. MEDALS, CERTIFICATES AND CATEGORY RULES

a) Only participants completing the race as per rules shall be eligible for medals and certificates.

b) 3K Fun Run is a non-timed category:

• Participants shall receive a participation / non-timed certificate;

• No post-race refreshments shall be provided for this category.

c) Finisher medals must be collected at the finish line. No claims shall be entertained later.

10. PRIZE MONEY AND RESULTS

a) Prize money eligibility shall be determined solely by RunnerX LLP.

b) Final results and rankings shall be based on official timing and verification.

c) Any dispute regarding results shall be resolved at the sole discretion of the organiser.

d) Timing certificates (where applicable) shall be provided digitally only, and no physical copies shall be issued.

11. BAGGAGE AND FACILITIES

a) Baggage services (if provided) must be used as per instructions.

b) Participants are advised not to deposit valuables.

c) RunnerX LLP shall not be responsible for loss, theft, or damage of personal belongings.

d) Any items not collected within the specified timeline may be disposed of, and RunnerX LLP shall not be responsible thereafter.

12. RUNNER RESPONSIBILITY AND ENVIRONMENT

a) Participants must respect public property, environment, and local residents.

b) Littering is strictly prohibited, Use toilets.

c) Participants must use designated waste disposal areas.

13. DONATION DISCLAIMER

a) Any donation or contribution made by participants is voluntary and is not made to RunnerX LLP.

b) RunnerX LLP acts solely as a facilitating entity for such contributions and shall not be responsible for the utilisation or management of such funds by the respective organisation.

14. PHOTOGRAPHY AND MEDIA

a) Participants may be photographed or recorded during the Event.

b) Such content may be used for promotional and event-related purposes.

15. DISQUALIFICATION CRITERIA

Participants may be disqualified for:

  • violation of route or course rules.
  • missing timing checkpoints.
  • bib misuse or impersonation.
  • use of unauthorised assistance.
  • misconduct or unsafe behaviour.
  • violation of any Event rules or instructions.

16. VIRTUAL EVENT RULES

a) Participants must complete the run within the specified time window.

b) Participants must select their own safe route.

c) Submission of accurate activity data (GPS, screenshots, etc.) may be required.

d) False or manipulated submissions shall result in disqualification.

17. ORGANISER RIGHTS AND AUTHORITY

a) RunnerX LLP reserves full authority over Event execution and participant management.

b) All decisions taken by the organiser or event officials shall be final and binding.

c) The organiser reserves the right to modify rules, structure, or execution for safety and operational reasons.

18. AMENDMENTS AND UPDATES

a) These Rules may be updated or modified at any time.

b) Updated rules shall be effective once published on the platform.
